Do you remember? My TOP 20 songs of the 90´s. Part 1

The 90´s. Those wonderful years and, in my personal opinion, when some of the best bands came out with some of the best songs ever. This is my Top 20 of the 90´s.

Nº 20
Roxette It must have been love
This amazing song was included on the Pretty Woman Soundtrack (it is when Julia Roberts leaves Richard after ending her work and is on her way to the apartment in the limo). This swedish couple had a lot of hits. This was in the beginning of the decade.

Nº 19

Blur The Universal
Amazing song. I think it was their second single of their most famous album. The video is unbelievable with a tribute to Stanley Kubrick´s The clockwork orange. Year 1996

Nº 18
Vanessa Paradis Be my Baby
This French woman is actually Johnny Depp´s wife and in 1992 she was dating Lenny Kravitz who wrote and produced a whole album for her. On the video she looks so pretty with that hippie outfit, but what she is really wearing is Chanel clothes

Nº 17
Massive Attack Teardrop
Many of you probably don´t know this song just reading the title, but if you click on play, you will recognize it beacuse it has been used for many movies and commercials. This is the most successful song (but not the only one) of this britsh band called Massive Attack and their called Trip-Hop style. So relaxing

Nº 16
Fugees Killing me Softly
I have no words. 1996

Nº 15
Radiohead Creep 1993

Nº14
Nirvana The man who sold the world
Although the original one was sung by David Bowie, this cover made by the Seattle guys is for me the best song of Nirvana. Year 1993-1994

Nº13
Madonna Frozen
In 1998 the queen of pop came out of the darkness and released the album Ray of Light that became a success worlwide after the failure of her las 2 works.

Nº 12
Natalie Imbruglia Torn
This autralian girl became famous with this song, although I presonally prefer other ones included in her debut album

Nº 11
Texas Say what you want

When I listen to all these song, I realize how old I am and how much fun I had while listening to them

Coming soon the Part 2 with the Top 10

  1. Well, In my oppinion It´s silly to try valuing any chart, becouse It is a private election. Within my top20 were also Radiohead or Blur, and watching your first choices I think I could guess most of the rest ones...
    Antonio.
